Hi all,
I am planning to buy Promitheus Preamp Reference C-Core TVC and I would like to know how long for the unit arrive in CA, USA.
base on the Audio Circle Forum, I guess the wait could stress out for couple months ( base on the buyers posted their comments in this forum in 2008 )
My intention is to buy either NuForce P-9 preamp or First Music TVC passive preamp ( silver model, on sale now at audiogon.com ) , however I was tumbled upon this TVC Preamp today and I was reading many of excellent reviews about this preamp from Promitheus, so I want this preamp to pair with my NuForce P9 V2 SE Amplifiers.

Hi,

Based on the previous posts on the promitheus forum I would be concerned about the length of time you will be waiting.  I've purchased a bit of gear from the states and shipped to Australia.  Its a real bummer when you get the gear home and discover that its no better or worse than your current equipment.

My advice is to purchase a nuforce preamp and have it at as a matching set.  If you purchase second hand if you don't like it you should be able to recover your costs.

Hi,

Just received my  Dual TVC -  Mono Single Input XLR with Dual Output XLR 2 ebony knobs Surprised. I ordered on Dec 30th. Nick said it would be about two weeks. I did my research and figured 2 weeks meant about 2months Wink. I anticipated a longer wait then specified. No big deal I've listen to music for 29 years before this TVC I think I can manage 1 month or 2.

Before and after ordering Nick responded to ALL my E mails  in a timely manner. He was very helpful and truly concerned about my questions etc. The order was shipped and package very very well.

By the way this unit sounds amazing right out of the box, It will be a joy to burn it in and experience the changes. Will not hesitate to order again from Nick......................THANKS NICK!!!! also be prepared to pay some Duty. I live in Toront Canada and had to pay87 bucks. It all evens out since I got the shipping for free due to Nicks Fall sale Wink

I posted it on Feb 6th 2009.....I ordered my Dual Mono TVC on Dec 30th. I live in Toronto Candada. I am not sure if it had to be built first or if he pulled it from Stock....I would assume he mainly builds upon order. My TVC is still not burnt in fully, I am at about 330 hours and I listen A LOT . They say burn in about 400 to 700 hours. I consider myself lucky, I read the post and thought I was in for a long wait as well..............You never know. I have no regrets.......and no audition
