Thanks for your comments on the Vincent pre-amp, Tj.  I think I'll have a bid on it and see how it goes.  I'm a big believer in tube rolling being capable of making significant changes in a component.

jandl100,   if you can ask the seller what the build date is on the that SA-T1. 

Should be on the back by the serial number

The auction states that it's New Old Stock - about 4 years old.  Why do you ask?
