Opps this was supposed to be "What are you Listening to Right Now" thread.

Cant figure out how to delete the post. Oh well..................... Maybe this will become a topic, who knows. I Just discovered Neil young after he put out the LIVE AT MASSY HALL Album. Wish I would have gotten into him earlier. He is truly a great singer song writer.

I just picked up his new one ... Fork In The Road . Great album , sort of a garage/bluesy sound that's musically primitive like his recent ones . Great sonics too . Most of the songs are about cars and being on the road , some lyrics are humorous . Another strong one from Shakey .

Prairie Wind is also a most excellent album, but you must also have the 2 older classics, Harvest and After the Gold Rush.

I've been listening to Old Neil since 1970 and "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere." His early stuff is superior, IMO, although it's probably the emotional attachment. My absolute favorite is

I used to be in the same boat until Greendale came out a few years back.  It has been my favorite NY album ever since.  Always in my top ten desert island classics.

Looking forward to hearing the Fork in the Road.

My favorite as well.

Once I saw this thread I had to throw it on.

I just bought "Fork In The Road" tonight and will try and give it a listen later.
