Cut & Paste from AAsylum - Rocky Road posted by LWR.

(No Depression)
Our best wishes go out to Nashville guitarist/songwriter/singer/producer Buddy Miller, who is recovering from triple-bypass heart surgery in Baltimore, Maryland.

Further details are here via Peter Cooper, music critic for Nashville daily The Tennessean.

Miller had performed Thursday evening with Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin at Baltimore's Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Miller and his wife, Julie Miller, have a new album, Written In Chalk, due out March 3 on New West Records.

No Depression named Buddy Miller its Artist of the Decade in our final print issue in May-June 2008.

I stumbled on to Buddy Miller's amazing skills ~8 years ago when he was touring as guitar support with Stever Earle. I was absolutely blown away at his performance. I commented to many friends that, imho, Buddy could show Clapton a thing or two.

I was also thrilled recently to see Buddy playing in support of the Raising Sand touring band and with T Bone Burnett on a number of recorded shows including the grammys.

LWR stated that Buddy is one of the industry good guys and a well kept secret.  Let's hope for a speedy recovery.
