I am the original owner of this Dared MP5. This desktop system combines a 13 watt hybrid tube integrated amp, USB DAC, and headphone amp. I have been using it to play music from my PC via the USB input and as well as from a CD player via the RCA inputs. Great reviews on both positive-feedback.com and enjoythemusic.com as well as many other sites. The unit comes in the original box, with all accessories. This is the Asian version, with the 6N1 tube as the buffer. I will ship the original 6N1 tubes in a baggy as I have been using two NOS Valvo ECC85 (1970 with a manufacturing code indicating they came from Philips Heerleen Holland plant). This MP5 has one idiosyncrasy. When it is first turned on and the volume is set to zero, some music still comes through at a low volume. Once it is warmed up (5-10 minutes) turning the volume down completely cuts off sound. Was this way when I received it and in all other respects the MP5 works perfectly.
