Looking to purchase some speaker wire to experiment with:

1. Must be 8 foot long
2. Banana plug terminations on speaker end preferable
3. Need only be a single wire configuration
4. Preferably copper, and modestly priced

These are being used on the midrange terminations of my speaker system.

I suggest you visit www.bluejeanscable.com and go to the speaker wire section where you will find some nice wire for around 64 cents a foot (and up). They will even install banana at one, both or no ends for you.

Choice of 10 or 12 awg.

For experimentation purposes, try some 12 ga romex from lowes or home depot. I use 10 ga but it's probably overkill.

If you want something more commercial, try some anticables solid core at $10 ft.

I am sorry. I didn't realize I was asking for speaker wire suggestions. If you have any used cable that meets the requirements I am looking for please PM me the information. If not, thanks for taking the time to read the thread.
