I may be faced in the future with a move overseas.  Is there a decent power conditioner on the market that also does voltage transformations (110V to 220V)?

Any opinions on the sonic impact of inserting a dedicated step up / down transformer into a hi-fi system?

I may be forced to either sell my stuff or put it into long term storage (neither is attractive  )

Oh yeah, target budget say $500 - $1000 max.  Less is better, a lot better as I'll have lots of other things to spend money on.
