I didn't get the new My Morning Jacket because I had heard it moved too far towards standard commercial fare. Seeing it on so many lists makes me reconsider. As for my list:
TV on the Radio - Dear Science
Fleet Foxes - S/T and Sun Giant EP (I consider them a single album)
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
Portishead - Third (We might have to wait 15 years for Fourth)
Radiohead - In//Rainbows
I will definitely have to check out Calexico soon. I have unintentionally avoided them for years.
