Changing Hagclock frequency

Jim, How much quality degradation would you expect with some sort of socket for the resonator on the Hagclock? I'd like to use one in various places and with various frequencies (11.2896, 22.5792, and 24.576MHz), and I am concerned that repeated soldering and desoldering is going to be an issue.

I hadn't considered this.  Good socket contacts can work, but poor connections can lead to a low of noise.  There are also vibrational concerns, although maybe the thin leads make for good mechanical low pass filters.  So yeah, it would work for various crystals not too far apart in frequency.

The higher frequency models also change out the inductor value, but it is not that critical.
