Tube Amps Used Full Range With RM-30Ms

I could have titled this the "Wiseness of Brian" but that could apply to any VMPS product.  I have owned the RM-30s for 3 years and wanted to share my experiences, and satisfaction, with the RM-30s.  I have used tube amps (I currently have over 40) and tube preamps (only 16 of these) exclusively for the last 32 years.  My current favorites are the Quicksilver M-135 monoblocks and the new Quicksilver Full Preamplifier.  The ability to alter the damping on the passive radiators on the RM-30 is a godsend to anyone using tubes with these speakers--what an elegantly simple way to maximize performance to your amp and room acoustics!  Individuals who have heard my system are slackjawed with the deep, tight bass response you can get from these speakers with a good tube amp. The midrange and upper frequencies are just as impressive, but that comes as less of a surprise to most observers.

Good Stuff.

What is especially interesting is that you are enjoying such wonderful bass from a speaker (the RM30) that does not claim bass as it's major strength.

It is an even a further testament due to your use of tubes to attain such pleasing bass qualities.  I often wonder ho many are listening to speakers that don't have this adjustability, and nover realize the tone, texture and detail they might be missing in their bottom Octave.

Obviously it is the result of a marriage and synergy of the Incredible QuickSilver electronics. (135wpc is the type of electron diet RM30s pray for)

Always good to hear these types of comments.
