Thanks Danny, I figured as much. I wonder how difficult it would be to incorporate a passive highpass filter in the amp for those outputs.

The little SI amp already has an ~100 Hz 1st order hi-pass... you adjust it by changing the size of the input caps.

This is very true, but I plan on upgrading to the KingRex T20 T-Rex eventually, which is flat to below 20Hz. I guess I could change the input caps on it as well, and probably with easier access too.

We changed the input caps & the 5-way posts on ours. Quite decent bang for the buck. I can recommend the optional analog power supply.

Ah, so you have a KingRex T20?! Funny, I always imagined you as a "tube only" guy.

KingRex T20U, Trends, 2 different gain clones, modded Aurex, modded dual mono Hitachi MosFet. a couple prototype transconductance amps, Don Stenton signature, PP EL34, SE 300B, monoblok RH84, and more... then there are the unfinished project amps (Sun 2A3 clone (that should move from project to working status soon), AKSA 55, SEWA, ZEN, FirstWatt F1, F2, F4, BRWX Class D, PP EL84, SE 50EH5, and many more potential)

The EL84 monobloks & the Hitachi are getting the most playing time ATM.

That's quite a list there Dave!

Say, when my friend and I go to built the Fonken167 enclosures, he's thinking of cutting the sides and baffles at the required angles, then after gluing everything together, running them through the joiner. Does that sound good to you guys? Does to me at least.

That works. We just build them square and run the entire cabinet thru the table saw to get the champhers.
