FS: Gainclone Monoblocks------SOLD

Very nice sounding pair of Gainclones by Tim Rawson*. There are no problems with these amps, but I am not using them and figured I should find them a new home. Rated a 6 because they are very "industrial" looking, but not abused in any way. I really like the stark aluminum chassis, but if WAF is involved these may not fly...

This pair uses LM3886 chips and 90vA Hamond transformers. Bench tested at 30 watts/8 ohms at clipping, and 35 watts/4 ohms at clipping*. Small heavy gauge aluminum boxes measure 7.25 x 4.5 X 2.5 and weigh about 6 lbs each. Amps have loads of power. I can drive Usher S520s to very high SPLs in my small listening room. They are not the most efficient speakers around. Personally I find the sound to be very detailed without any harshness. Very strong imaging and separation of instruments.Standard power cables are included with the amps.  No original boxes, but I will pack very securely.

$225 and I will cover shipping (conus) and PayPal fees.
