I am looking for room treatment advice. I can only use panels that have removable i.e. has a base due to wife acceptance factor. Any advice as what to buy and where to place would be appreciated.
Your drawing doesn't show very clearly, but the photos are fine. The obvious applies - minimum would be bass traps in the front left and right corners, and absorption at the side wall reflection points. All of the panels could be mounted on stands.
Normally, having a couch against a wall is problem, but since that "wall" is open you don't really need anything there.
