There are couple of audiogon ads for MaxHemps saying it is $800 upgrade for Alnico. And Omega site says ferrite driver on MaxHemp page and its says Alnico is standard in MaxHemp on the driver page.

Regarding Audiogon, the Alnico is fairly new. So if they refer to the ability to upgrade, that means they were purchased without Alnicos.
