I have owned this Modwright Sony Universal Player for nearly 3 years. A great cd, sacd, cdr, and dvd player. Mods done by Dan Wright - check out the modwright.com website. The mod is called the Platinum Truth mod. Includes a new Tube rectified PS 9.0 Outboard power supply for two box set up. Also includes volume control on the cd player so you can bypass a preamp and plug straight into your amp. Comes with both stock copper and upgraded silver revelation audio labs umbilical cords - you can figure out which sounds best in your system. Easy tube rolling opportunities but will include 2 sets of tubes including cryoed tungsol 5687s. Check out the Positive Feedback reviews at
