repairing satellite speaker on the cheap?

I have a 7 year old satellite speaker system from Polk - you can see product info on it here -
http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/rm6600/
. Unfortunately, one of the satellites fell from my mantle about 5 feet onto my hardwood floor, and it appears to have broken the tweeter. There's no obvious damage on the outside of the speaker, but if you shake the speaker you can hear something moving around in there, and it sounds pretty clear that the tweeter is not sounding - white noise from my receiver's sound level check sounds an octave lower than the other satellite.
Is there a cheap and easy fix for this? Should I write it off and look for a cheap replacement? I suspect that I could put any similarly sized speaker back there in its place and I wouldn't know the difference.
Thoughts?

What could have happened is something broke loose off of the crossover. You need to open them up and see whats rattling around in there before anyone can help though. Whatever it is, Its probably an easy fix.

Thanks for the feedback.
I have zero confidence level in being able to take apart the speaker and put it back together again, but it sounds like for someone who does it could be easy (and cheap).

Where do you live, slow_down? If you're not confident in attempting repair yourself, I'm sure somebody either here or over on the Polk forum would be happy to help. Could you take a picture of the back and of the front with the grill off?

Thanks for the interest!!! Appreciate the help.
I live in Chicago.
These pics aren't of mine - stole them off the web - but they are my exact model, without the mounting brackets in the back. As I said earlier, my broken speaker has no obvious signs of damage on the outside (save some scrapes and scratches from over the years).
