Is the vpi hw-19jr upgradeable. If so what are the upgrades. I am considering buying one on ebay and the auction closes tonight.

There are a few:

SAMA motor upgrade removes the motor from the sub-chassis.

New 25 pound platter.

Just a few.

There's a ton of upgrades for it...but as the series was discontinued by VPI some 3+ years ago now, a good many of them come from private owners as VPI's supply dwindles to nearly nothing now.

But, VPI is still real great at providing answers to your service questions...a model company at that they are  :thumb:

You could make your Jr. all the way into a Mk. IV if you were so inclined. Some upgrades: http://www.elusivedisc.com/products.asp?dept=1142

I had one w/ a Rega RB-300...I liked it :)
