Hello Derockster!
Great phono-stage aint it?
I use Mullard ECC83 tubes in my EAR 834 P Sig. IMO the tubes that produce most lush sound. I have tried the original EAR ECC83 tube but had to replace when the one gave up ghost (so soon you may ask??) Also tried Phillips Miniwatt 12AX7s but they sound lifeless and flat.
Hope this helps!

Barbados? Wow... it is also very sunny and extremely hot here in S Africa.
Next upgrade with the 834P is some better caps. But that is a wee bit more expensive...
