I'm going to buy a set of Sound Anchors for my VMPS 626.What is the best height for the stands.I've read anywhere for 18" to 24".VMPS website states 20" is optimum.What's height is everyone using.Thanks,Scott

I have a set of 24" Sound Anchor four post stands that I had made just for the 626Rs.

I have changed over to the OXO outboard crossover built into a "stand".

Hi Scott,

The height of the stand will vary according to two things:

1) How tall "you" are torso wise.

2) How high your listening chair is.

With the FST tweeter you will find greater vertical dispersion and you will likely want your ear height to be in the upper/middle of the neopanel.

If you have 626jr's or the spiral ribbon, you may want to be slightly "higher" (which would mean a shorter stand and thus the 20" reference.
