I already have 16 Fountek Neo CD 2 ribbons (8 for each side )and I am looking for a Mid/Bass to match in a line array .
I went through all links and sites and most line arrays use 4.5" to 7" mid bass . the fountek will go down to 2000 Hz which is just about right for an 7" ( Selah audio type of matching ) upper limit before comb filtering and cancellation occurs , on the other side the smaller mid/bass will allow higher xover ( GR type and Jim Griffin's type ) . Seas has a new  reed  7"  the ER18RNX ( will need 16 units x 70 $= 1120 $) or in the smaller diam CSS wr125 st at 50 $ each and in this case will need more units to attain the line length ( about 12 of them 24 x 50 = 1200 $ ) which makes the 2 choices equal on the price , I am really unable to make a decision and would like help !
BTW I have two powered subs x 2 x 12" each, my xover is a Behringer DCX 2496 , But I Will also have a passive xover in case I will have to sell them .
I'm looking for a very transparent midrange sound  .
Thanks
