FS: N. Pass Balanced Zen Line Stage as kit
« on: 15 Aug 2008, 09:50 pm »
As seen on picture below,my Balanced Zen Line Stage kit contains:

two encapsulated 230 V / 2x38 V 30 VA toroid transformers

two main pcb boards with Mundorf 10uF Mcap output caps and two 1200 uF /63 V Panasonic FC power supply caps, bypassed with MKP cap

two power supply pcb boards with 1200 uF 63 VPanasonic FC caps and smaller FC caps for decoupling

The preamplifier is in perfect working condition and can accept both unbalanced and balanced I/O connections. My version was designed to operate at +- 45 V, if you want higher voltage, you need to replace power supply Zener diodes and use other transformer. It is possible to order kit without toroid transformers.

Price : 85 EUR + post cost (my location is EU)

For contact send PM.

The PCB design was done by myself, because original Pass BZLS pcb board was too small to use big quality MKP 10 uF capacitors.

I use it as unbalanced / unbalanced preamp with 10 k Alps on output. If you want use it in unbalanced way. then I suggest to use relay volume control or 4 gang attenuator.
