I just did a search looking for information about how the "standard" Stratos has changed/been upgraded over the last few years.  I bought a new Stratos with the 120K mfd option some years ago.  Loved the amp, but being so into tubed gear I sold it.  I've bought another one used.  It's probably the same vintage as the one I bought previously.

Other than the Extreme offerings, has the "standard" Stratos changed in any way/s that I might want to consider some upgrades?

Thanks,

Well, considering that nowadays even a Khartago/Cyclops is practically better sounding that an old Stratos, maybe just lacking some output Watts, I can say that a regular Stratos sounds better today, better voltage regulation, better circuit board, better transformer, custom capacitors, adoption of Groneberg cable, a much more reliable light display, beter tunning also.

I have been listening to these products for years since 1999 or 2000 and is my opinion that thare have been big improvements in sound quality over the years, still I have Odyssey in my system and I think I will keep that way.

Yes,  it has changed big time over the years,  and keep in mind that I am always willing to do custom tweaks,  there have been quite a few different models, especially an amazing evolution with the Extremes.
