"The Clever Little Clock is a small, battery-powered travel alarm clock that has been extensively modified using a number of highly specialized techniques. The Clever Little Clock does not plug into the wall and has no influence on house wiring, audio components, cables, interconnects, power cords or acoustic waves in the room. Yet the Clock has a pronounced affect on the sound heard by listeners in the room. In addition, any video systems in the house will be improved - the picture will be clearer, with better color saturation and contrast.

Place the clock anywhere in the listening room. The sound will be considerably more musical, engaging and live-sounding -- there will be less distortion, more information and a deeper, more coherent soundstage. Low frequencies will be articulate, extended and dynamic; high frequencies considerably smoother with remarkable inner detail. One or more additional Clever Little Clocks will further improve the sound." Machina Dynamica

"In the final analysis, I want The Clever Little Clock. Machina Dynamica promises that with the Clock there will be less distortion, and that was genuinely the case. My curse is that usually my favorite music is so poorly recorded that it does sound distorted on our system. The Clock can not make up for a bad recording, but the distortion was lessened to such a degree that the bad recordings actually sounded good. I found my entire listening experience to be much more enjoyable with the Clock in place. My primary goal when listening to music is to be transported away from the cares of everyday life, and into a place where I fully connect with the music. That goal was attained beautifully with the Clever Little Clock." Dave Clark - Positive Feedback Online

"After unwrapping the nondescript plastic timepiece and placing it on a side table, I noticed that the system’s midrange performance had become more emphatic. It was as if the Cyber-800 had sprouted a brace of 845 triode tubes in place of its little 6CA7 power tubes. I was so impressed with the Clever Little Clock (CLC) that I ordered another one, which yielded additional midrange power and realism. (Recent photos of my room reveal a third clock, but it’s there for overkill purposes only.)" "A Tweak Too Far" by James Saxon - Soundstage A/V

"I was only a little skeptical of the Clever Little Clock and Brilliant Pebbles, having experienced the remarkable performance of your Promethean isolation stand. So I had enough confidence to give them a try. The items (one Clever Little Clock, set of 4 Mikro bottles and one XL bottle) are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They transformed our reference system!! Quantum leaps forward! A number of system shortcomings we had written off as room-related have been completely eliminated! the boominess in the bass is entirely gone! In addition, bass response is much deeper... The entire audible spectrum is far "cleaner" and clearer -- haze or sibilance we hadn't been aware of previously has been removed, giving the sound the incredible illusion of realism. Nothing in my experience compares to the improvements your products make. Before your products, this reference system was more than revealing enough to allow virtually every design change we make in our products audible. I believe that THAT ability of the system has now been enhanced at least a full order of magnitude." Brad Vojtech - Revelation Audio Labs

"Geoff, got the clocks and I am speechless!! This is pure magic!! The clocks completely took the edge off voices and instruments (refinement), added space, air, more decay and unbelievable naturalness to the sound. It's like a 3-D virtual reality. A treatment that produces a similar improvement is Frank Tchang's resonators. I have 9 of them here. The addition of your clocks brought this effect to a higher level." Alex Peychev - APL Hi-Fi

How old is it? What shape is it in cosmetically?

It's around two years old, with an extra battery, and in very good condition.
