There are a lot of smart people who frequent these circles. I'm hoping one of them can help me. I have a Theta Data Basic Transport (circa 1992). Works great. Built like a tank. I have a generic remote that performs some of the necessary functions, but I wanted the matching remote.
I finally found one on-line, and the seller described it as being for the Theta Data Basic. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for me. Tried different batteries. Opened the transport and the remote to see if there were any dip switches that might need to be adjusted. No luck. Old generic remote still works, so I know the transport is OK.
Any ideas?
