Changes to Shipping Charges / Shopping Cart, etc.

For many reasons, we are in the process of converting from flat rate shipping to shipping as linked to the UPS database for domestic shipments. We are also enabling USPS for export shipments (up to 70 pounds).

I mentioning it here because it involves many changes to our secure shopping cart. We've been working on this for several weeks and are just today "flipping the switches". Of course there will be NO problems  8)  HOWEVER, just in case you are ordering and something doesn't seem to calculate correctly please drop us an email or give us a call. We'll make sure to help you get it right  :D

I was just putting together and order for some cables and it looks more costly to ship than it used to be? Just making sure before I hit the submit button.

It's probably correct, if you want, PM me with specifics and I'll double check. As fuel costs, etc. rise, I'm pretty sure the shipping rates will continue to climb.

One tip to save money on shipping accessory orders is to order all you need at one time. For example, say UPS charges $15.26 for one pound to your destination. You order a set of interconnects today and the shipping costs you $15.26.  Next week you decide to order another set of cables and there's another $15.26 for shipping. If you'd ordered them both together, the shipping would only have been $16.76.   Significant savings by planning ahead . . .
