Another treasure that surfaced during the great office excavation project, and that I really have no use for anymore.

This is a brand new (still has the original packing tissue on all the pieces -- Lansing Instruments "gray box B-style" enclosure that is flat-packed and needs to be assembled.  This is the full rack width (which comes to about 17" wide by 12" deep, and is 2U high (approx 3.5")

The finish is black anodized and the end panels are solid (except for two holes in each for either bolting similar boxes together or possibly for adding rack hardware), and there are captive nuts for the top and bottom panel fasteners (so you can't lose them or have them fall into your nice HV supply).

This is essentially the same size as the diyenclosures 1712 box, but much nicer, heavier gauge all around (front, back and sides are all 1/8" extrusions) and the top and bottom are thicker than the sides of the 1712.  All original hardware is included, and the box goes together in 5 minutes.

I paid about $160 to get this to my door -- pay me $120 and I'll get it to yours (i.e. - that price includes shipping and paypal.)

Thanks,

Jim

Thanks Josh -- I actually meant to post that link :D.

BTW, for anybody who knows Jim Hagerman's projects, these are his enclosures of choice (albeit different sizes), and where I first learned about them.  So, if you've got Cornet, Clarinet, Chime, or Cymbal monoblock amps, this box is the same thing -- just bigger.
