WTB: Altmann Attraction DAC, Paul Hynes PS

I would like to buy an Altmann Attraction DAC, preferably all options, and a Paul Hynes power supply if available.  Has anyone's wife or husband gotten tired of the open face spruce?

Thank you, Tanjiro.

I already sent Denjo a message, but he hasn't seen it yet.    :duh:

Hope he's still interested in selling.  Do you still like your Altmann?  I don't remember from reading the posts if you have the amp also, but it appears that overall people value the amp less highly.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of the assistance given to one another on this forum, and the good natured humor so many show.

All the best,
Salabim

The BYOB amp is very special - but like a SET, it is low powered, making it fit into fewer systems than the DAC. It actually makes 10Winto 4ohms, which is a lot better than average SET, and it sounds at least as good.  Attraction is a great DAC, you'll love it! Good luck in your search Salabim.

The BYOB AMP is no less satisfying than the DAC. Both are exceptional pieces.

Hang in there Salabim, he will see the pm eventually.  I exchanged pm's with him back when I first noticed him offering his equipment for sale and he told me he was downsizing his system to make it more family friendly and that he was going to be spending less time here on AC for basically the same reason  :thumb:  Anyway, I'm sure he will be checking in, just not as regularly as before.
