FS: Sony D25s portable CD player -- last chance

Selling this brand new (NOS) Sony D25s all metal, audiophile quality Walkman from the late 1980s. Considered to be the best Walkman type CD player ever. For more info see the description at the ALO site:

Note that this does come with an AC power supply but no battery. I got this player in combination withthe the ALO premium Copper IC, but have never used it or even opened the box.
Selling for $350 for the package, shipped in lower 48 and no paypal fees. ALO's price is $395 plus shipping.

Dismantling the 3rd system and have too many players, so this one has to go.

Bump and price lowered to a final $350 for everything. Will go up on agon later today.

Works great with SLA power supply, so with an RWA or similar battery powered amp, you can get completely off the grid with this. Several have done it and report this to be an excellent player.

I'll also sell the CD player without the ALO cable, for $250 in case anybody's interested in the player and not the cable. This means I will necessarily have to open the box again, but maybe not the inner box -- won't know until I look, and I won't do that until there is somebody interested.

And the new information is that I was apparently looking at the wrong box. Today I found the box with the Sony player and ALO cable -- sealed and unopened, so I can now honestly say that it is new and never used -- if that makes any difference to any of you window shoppers. This also necessarily means that it will be sold as a package only -- no breaking out the cable from the player.

I ordered one from the link, and it i a fantastic sounding cd player right out of the box!!! Built quality like a precision german tank!
Get one now before they dissapear... wonder how a mod would sound on this little aural and aesthetic beauty...I have been coveting one for YEARs!!! Magic and MUsical!!! see link...
