My middle son, Neil, has been involved with these guys for some time.  Now, when his mother and I ask him to do chores...he hears nothing.  Ask him about his homework...impervious.  How about talking to him about straightening up his room......complete acoustic cloaking!   It's pretty amazing technology.

Sorry.....

Actually, pretty cool ideas for home theater isolation (crank it up even at 1 am), soundproofing a home near the airport or rr tracks, creating acoustically isolated training rooms, isolated chamber halls for music....hell even a little for those megaplex Cinemas whose walls resonate from the next door feature.  How about hotel walls (RMAF, etc would be great huh?).

They must have a viral marketing campaign because it has struck here in Michigan as well.

Funny stuff, ted_b  :D

I would bet this stuff is cheaper than the acoustic cloaked model you are raising...

Ahhhh! ME WANT NOW!!!  Do they need more money?  Where do I send a check?  What will it take to make this a reality?!  No wild theory, no concept car, no drawing board fantasy, no sci-fi nonsense, we need this technology now!  A quieter world?  Where do I sign up!?  Please, can we divert all the money spent on cables into this research instead?  Pretty please?
