If you get the parts from VH Audio, you can get and return the crimper for a refund. I don't remember the exact terms, but essentially you end up renting the crimper.
It does actually pay to use the WBT crimper as it crimps a "V" in the sleeeve, which the points of the fastening screws fit in for best mechanical and electrical (?) connection.
I had one of these but have decided I don't much like high mass connections, so don't use WBT anymore, and consequently, sold the crimper.
