Digital cable with Bybee

Wayne,
I have one of your digital cables with the silver bullet plugs. I am thinking of adding a Bybee to this cable. Would I be better off buying the Bybee inline purifier or sending the cable to you to have one installed? If I did send it to you, what would the cost be? Also, if I sent it in, would it be worthwhile to have it Cryo treated?

The easiest and fastest way to hear what a Bybee does for a digital cable, would be to get the inline purifier.

It really isn't worth it to install a Bybee in the cable after it is built. There is far too much labor involved. The Naplam digital cable has a Bybee installed in it and ERS fabric wrapped around it. Bubba, JayS, and Turk alll have various incarnations of this cable.

It would cost about $255.00 for a Naplam with a single Bybee. Cryo would still be $20.00 more.

Right now Bybees are in short supply, as Jack Bybee is in Asia for another week. There will be no orders shipped until he gets back. All of the Bybees I have on hand are committed to cables already.

I prefer the sound of the Napalm to the digital cable + inline bybee adaptor.  Maybe it has to do with 1 less set of connectors, maybe the ERS.  Both were usefully better than the "stock" digital cable.  I posted some comments on the Napalm thread in the Bolder Cable forum about 4-6 weeks ago.
