"Resurrecting The Champ," a movie out on DVD starring Josh Hartnett and Samuel L. Jackson is very good entertainment.  I highly recommend you check this one out and I look forward to your opinions.  I would rate the movie at 7.5 stars.

I saw it on an airplane and wasn't impressed at all.  It just wasn't very interesting for me.

I thought it was good, not great or anything. But worth a watch.

Saw it last night. It was better than I expected, with a nice plot switch. But I agree, it was an OK, but not great movie. Definitely different from the usual horror stories or action flick explosion movie or gansta' movie, so therefore worth watching for a change.

What was with Sam Jackson's voice though? He probably could have pulled off that role without that squeak.

Just saw it myself...I typically enjoy the films that Josh Hartnett is in, though I don't often find him to be a very convincing actor. That being said, I thought Samuel L. Jackson did a great job, and the little kid in the film was AMAZING.

I agree with those of you who said it was good, not great...but definitely worth a look if you like this sort of film. I typically find "based on a true story" type stuff to be pretty interesting, particularly sports based films. I'm glad I saw it, for sure.

Come to think of it that's sort of how I view Hartnett, too.  He's okay but never amazing.  His best performance of films I've seen was probaby in Blackhawk Down but it wasn't mind-boggling or anything.
