IC....Dymaxion sub enclosure 2.0 cu.ft.

Just throwing a bone here.  Marbles commissioned 4 subwoofer enclosures from my shop to go with the new servo amp/drivers from GR.  This enclosure is quite tricky and time consuming to build so I decided while I was set-up I might as well build an extra for myself.  The extra enclosure is American Black Walnut Burl and Birds-eye Maple.  It has a internal volume of 2.0 cu.ft. as spec'd by Marbles & Danny.  The walls are constructed of 1.5" mdf with heavy internal bracing and splined miter joints, it's quite a heavy & rigid little thing.   The internal volume of this sealed enclosure will work with a number of different drivers and designs.  I am on the fence about keeping this sub because, as much as I love the look of this 26 sided form, it is not much in suit with the modern curved shaped white/Padauk Selah speakers I own.  If your are interested in this enclosure shoot me a PM and we can discuss details.  I am not accepting new commissions at this time...thankfully our wood shop is now booked for the summer

Here is a raw veneer pic during construction to give an idea of the figure.

More pics will be posted in my gallery as I get further along

Correction:  I stated 1.5cu.ft as volume, this enclosure is 2.2 cu.ft before internal bracing and 2.0 after displacement of internal bracing.
