Is the Bryston 7BSST-C or 6bsst Good for Martin Logan summit speakers?
The summit are 4 ohms normal and 0.5 ninimum ?

It would likely be a factor of how hard they are driven. However, I suspect the most logical answer is that since the 'effective impedence' is likely below, say, 4 Ohms for your speakers, the 7BSST would be a best fit since I believe the 7BSST can be configured from the factory in 'series' or 'parallel' for driving loads above or below 3 Ohms on a consistent basis. I'm sure the 6BSST could do it, but the 7BSST would likely be a better fit.

Hi Nikolas,

It also depends on where the low impedance is in the frequency response. When I looked at the Logans a couple of years ago the .5 ohms was above 10K cycles.  Being that high up the current requirement on the amplifier is not anywhere near as difficult as if it is in the middle and low frequencies.

Maybe not so relevant, but Sunfire gets a lot of praise with Martin Logans..., but I doubt you will experience a major difference between the two Brystons.
About impedance, I can tell you that the Audiostatic ES 100 DCI fullrange electrostat has aroud 0,3 ohm at 20K. The ML Summit, http://www.no.martinlogan.com/specs/summit.html has 0.7 at 20K, so, not bad at all really. Play ball.....
