FS: Audio by Van Alstine T7ECR preamplifer

I bought it brand new from Frank in 7/06/05. Cost me $1898 plus shipping. Has the remote control. Best pre he was making then. I've replaced the JJ 12At7 tubes with Siemens ECC881's. Pre is in very good condition. Don't have the shipping box it came in but I do have all the paperwork. Including bill of sale. Asking $950. plus shipping. $950 is 50% less than I paid for it.
Cheers

I thought that because everybody gave Frank's audio gear a thumbs up it would have good resale value. Shows to go how much I know about resale value. "Buy high Sell low or give it away!!!"

Here's a friendly bump for you Charlie!
I certainly wish I could relieve you of your pre.
I'm afraid I've been left with too little 'mad money' for 'toys' for a while.
Good luck, dontcha know.
Best Regards,
DeadFish

Ericus Rex:
On Frank's website look for the Ultra EC pre. My T7ECR looks almost like it.

Rebate stimulus checks on the way. Spend it wisely and buy yourself a very fine preamp in very good condition. THIS ONE!!!

Does this Pre-amp have HT bypass and if so can you use it IN bypass mode with the Pre powered off?

Honestly I haven't got a clue as to what you are talking about. I suggest you contact AVA and ask Frank this question. I would not like to give you any info. that was not correct. I'm sure Frank has the info. on his data base. Or whatever he stores info. on.
Cheers
