Reimer Wind River GS speakers in Cherry. $2495 obo plus shipping.
These have been upgraded to 10” woofers. This is the pair of speakers that Rick Reimer brought with him to the ’05 RMAF. Easy to drive: 94db/4 ohms, 26Hz-30Khz. I have been using all SET and Hybrid tube amps with them.
Woodworking is top notch. Solidly built, around 85 pounds each. Magnetic grills and rollerball triangulated isolation.
They provide a very balanced sound, very true to the music. The ribbon tweeter is very detailed and has great imaging. Plenty of tight, deep bass.
In top condition. No scratches, nicks or dents. I’ll rate 8/10. Would love to sell them within driving distance, but I live in Reno, so this really only means Sacramento and San Francisco. I can ship, will pack well, but with $5 gas, shipping is getting more costly.
