Hello,
This is my first post so please excuse me if this has been discussed before.
The world of music is changing each day with new storage format wars coming (DVD-A) (Blue Ray) etc. The digital download revolution is destroying smaller independent labels as well as dealers and distributors. Meanwhile a new opportunity is being born.....
What do readers think of the possibility of offering downloaded music in a much better sounding format? - created with utmost care to the original recordings, still compressed, yet high quality. I am talking about the Ogg/Vorbis .ogg standard and using only the very best recording and engineering available.
Would any of you pay 50 cents per track including a free software player? Would it be worth our time to make a sample for you?
All the best
Ogg Master
PS The player will play all other formats including Apple AAC etc
