The chokes arrived today and have been immediately installed:  one 193L on power amp, another 193L on tube pre, one 193M shares an AC Liberator Plus with PSA premium power cord, which in turn shares duplex (in series) with a PE II, another 193M on the IEC end of the Premium using a monitor liberator.  Transport and DAC are running off batteries.

You get what you get instantly, there is no break in or warm up. Immediate gratification is hard to come by in this hobby but this is one of those instances.

Damn right!

Hammond Chokes 193 series, and Alan Maher PE series are some of the best power conditioning tools I've ever encountered and I've tried/and use quite a few conditioning tools.

Agree!

To say that I like the tweak (PE's + chokes) is an understatement.  Even just having stayed in my room for 12 days, with the last placement change of PE's only 2 days ago, they have made A/V improvements across the board.  Making me want to get more PE's, more chokes, more liberators.

The choke + PE tweak is very much worth trying.  And the cost is very reasonable.

Couldn't agree more the positive effects of balanced power + PEs + Hammond 193L choke for the digital source (using a IEC liberator).  My initial impression was:  Wow!  Now that it has time to settle in my impression is:  Wow!!

Great bass/dynamics/pace, no noticeable noise, midrange is spooky good -- just a completely natural presentation that is much like live music.   It really is good enough.  But, being a greedy audiophile, two 193Ms are on the way for the amp.

Thanks to Robin for advice/help along the way.
