made by fritz of fritzspeakers. they are single ended with the soon to be legendary merrill dca 5.5 inch aluminum drivers (they are possibly not in production at this point. the cabinets from Fritz are beautiful mahogany veneer and have large flared rear ports. The binding posts and internal wiring are top notch, the condition is like new (about 100 hrs on them) and they sound fantastic. These largish bookshelves (18 x 13 x
do most things right, and have a great tonality with no mid-range "shout" that plague most mid-range [/img] designs. To boot, they go well into the lower 40 hz range, are 91 db efficient, and can rock with with low power amps. Reason for selling is to go with a completely different omni-directional beast due to serious room constraints. I will provide pictures on request and have attached a link to a review of speakers with a design utilizing the smaller merrill 4 inch driver (the 5.5 have been said to be significant improvements).
