I was thinking of upgrading(modding)  my Bel Canto Dac 2 with a superclock 4.
I love the tone and imaging of this Dac but would like a little more air and dynamics.
The Superclock 4 is supposed to adrress these area's. Anyone have experience with this?

I am a bit afraid to do this mod as I have been burned in the past with mods. Would this mod change the tone of the dac? Is this new clock better than the one that is in it now?

Any experience shared would be greatly appreciated.

Mike,

I think most of the DAC modders would agree that the best place to put an upgraded clock is in the transport. You may want to look there first before adding a clock to the DAC. What are yoiu using for a transport?

I used Tentlabs XO3 clock on my transport...
