This question is for those computer gurus, Looking for a good wireless router that will handle just about anything and it has the capability for future expansion?

I may be biased  , but I use an Apple Airport Extreme. Gigabit ethernet (4 ports), 802.11n, WDS, dual frequency, and a USB 2.0 port for an external drive which can be shared by all networked machines. The new ones (called Time Capsule) now have a built-in 500GB or 1TB drive.

And they are completely compatible with Windows machines (I run three macs and two windows machines off it).
