I think DLS sounds great too.
Your question is, at best, answered hypothetically, because the two environments of home and car couldn't be more different. The car is a great natural audio environment, a bit heavy on the glass but most of the glass is out of the way and non parallel (except for side windows). It is especially well-suited for surround sound (my 5.1 DVD-Audio and DTS system in my Infifnit M30X is awesome). However, there is almost nothing that carries forward from car audio to home audio as far as acoustics, sonics, tonal signatures, etc. Sure, some car audio companies also do very well in home audio (JL Fathom, etc.) but these two worlds are quite different IMHO. So, hypothetically speaking, what you really want is the same dynamics, punch and raw energy you get from your DLS car audio. Stay away from single driver speakers, and even electrostatics. Those two have incredible seamlessness and speed, but are not wild dynamos like you are listening to in the cocoon of your car cabin. Maybe Dynaudio is a good match. Or SP Tech (my Revs will blow your hair back). or any number of very highly regarded neutral and dynamic (that word again) transducers. Maybe even active speakers like the larger ATC's.
Good luck. These two audio environs are certainly special places and are wonderful for getting away to sonic nirvana, but IMO always require very different solutions.
