I'm moving, how should I pack my AV/3 and sw12a sub?

Anyone has good tips on how I should pack my AV/3 for a move coming next month?  I was thinking maybe it's best to build some kind of wood crate but is that overkill?  Would you put two speakers in one wood crate?  What type of wood did you use?

Any suggestion or experience you guys have had with moving speakers will be appreciated.  By the way, I'm not moving myself, I'm using movers so that is why I want to pack them.  If it was me I would just lay them nicely in my car.

Thanks.

Buy a box from any of the storage/moving companies like UHaul etc, which will fit the AV/3 and the sub.
Then buy some roofing insulation Styrofoam from HD or lowes...this is a wonderful packing material - light weight, and yet offers very good protection. Pad the speakers with this material, and you should be fine.

I shipped a pair of super heavy weight speakers (~75 lbs each) using this method via DHL, and it reached the destination in perfect condition.
