Will the HAGSUB work with Vista?  The new native Vista audio drivers are reported to be much better than what was used under XP.  Does anyone have any experience with them?  If the Windows system is now audiophile friendly, then possibly ASIO would not be needed.

Yes, it has been reported to work just fine.  If you can get past all the other issues, the audio drivers are probably a step up.

What are the other issues I need to be concerned with?  Ihave not set up a PC based server before.  A friend of mine is using a Benchmark DAC with USB from a very basic Vista laptop with very good results.  My DAC does not have provisions for a USB input and that is why I am considering the HAGSUB.
