A few months ago I tossed a Sony CD player after about 8 months use and bought a new one. Now a fairly large percentage of my CD collection that I burned on my computer will no longer play on the new Sony CDP-CE375 5 disc changer. The Sony tries to read the disc and then indicates NO DISC and cycles to the next disc. This Sony is less than a year old and used to play these discs with no problem.
The new Pioneer 101 disc CD player I purchased for another system last week plays these discs fine so I don't think that they've been damaged. In fact, they've only been played on the Sony in question and returned to jewel cases when not in use.
I really don't have a question here other than has anyone else experieced a similar problem with Sony or any other brand?
I'll check out the warranty with the store I purchased it from and if its going to cost more the 2 cents to fix it I'll throw it away and never buy another Sony CD player again. I've been through at least 4 of them in two different applications over the last couple of years.
