Mike Farnsworth, then owner of Talon Audio, installed these into my Firebird loudspeakers, winter of 2005.
They are the custom black membrane model, currently used in the Marten Design "Coltrane Supremes".
Talon uses female "slip-on" clips to attach to the driver tabs, so these tweeters have never been soldered. I put about 500 hours on the Firebirds with the diamond tweeters on board, so they are barely boken in.
I sold the Firebirds last month after swapping out the diamonds for replacement ceramics. I had planned to use the diamonds in a custom speaker project that has gone in a different direction (line arrays).
Absolutely no functional or cosmetic issues, but they are sold "as is".
