I've been playing with various cables for almost a year, but had generally kept a set of Groneberg's in between the Candela and the SE Monos.
One of the terminations was causing me some feedback problems, so I pulled them out and changed to DH Labs Air Matrix - certainly a more expensive cable but I found myself started to listen to less and less music. The Gronebergs had great synergy.
I auditioned the high-end Nordost and Cardas which definitely brought back the music, but at crazy $$$$$.
I just recenty put in a full set of LAT International IC-300 Signature, and SS-1000 MkII speaker cable and YIKES
Odyssey has never sounded so fine. I'm tremendously pleased and having fun with my CD collection again.
And as for the Groneberg - my opinion is that at $75 there's probably no better deal on IC's ...
