This is one of your better sounding transports. Mine has some issues: the buttons are not always very responsive, and you sometimes have to push and hold to get them to work (the remote is fine, though). It does not always read discs on the first try, and it is not got with many CDR's. I can also hear some motor noise if I get up close. This may or may not be a recent development. Amazingly, the cosmetics are great.
The good news: it still sounds awesome, more analog than anything else I've tried. It sounds so good that I've put up with its limitations for years. I'm selling to replace it with a universal player and/or a computer set-up.
I'm selling as is for $200. I do have the boxes, though it may be a few days before I can get to them.
