Silver unit, perfect condition. I have the CDP going directly to the amp and as my only source I have no need for this beauty.

Passive unit with grounding cable if you need it. No remote volume - this is the one you get exercise with.

I've kept this the longest and may regret selling it as it is 'invisible' in the path.

I'll post some pics later tonight.

I've not hear it (that I can recall, anyway

), but I've neither heard nor read anything but glowing reviews. By all accounts, it is a truly exceptional preamp.

Good luck with the sale, Pete. I'm sure someone will snatch it up sooner than later, especially at that price!

Nice price for a great preamp - transparency and dynamics in spades. I've owned Placette, Endler, Promitheus - all offering excellent value themselves - but the Sonic Euphoria is my favorite of the bunch. I paid a little more than Machine's asking price for mine and am very happy with the purchase, using it with both my solid state Belles Ref and tubed Cary Six Pacs. In fact a friend of mine, who heard all the others in my system and his own, purchased one on Audiogon the day after he heard mine in his system for what I paid. Hard to beat for the price.

Can't help you out on the SE since I own it already, but if those Reality speaker cables were a similarly great deal..... ;0)
