Sapphire XL Custom Stands

I was wondering what you're placing between the stands and your Sapphires?
The stands were an definite improvement and I've left the stock square pads on. Would I be better off with the blue discs that came with them, or Sorbothane, or anything else?
Has anyone tried additional weights on the stands? I could borrow a pair of 25lb lead bricks to weight them down further. Is any changes worthwhile? Or should I leave well enough alone?
Thanks,
Joe

I've done a little experimenting with some sorbothane I have. It sounded different but I'm not sure it was better. I was thinking of actually trying some sort of cone between the stand and the speakers. Seriously, they sound so good with the stock pads I haven't justified the time to play with that. I don't know if any additional weight would help, but it would raise the speakers a little higher which might be good or bad depending on how high up you sit.

Thanks Griller,
I'll leave well enough alone for now. I was just curious if I should be using the blue disc or whatever else.
I had to really think about buying the stands, I am glad I did though. A definite improvement over the stands I was using, both in sonics and appearance. I may not have believed the sonic improvement if I hadn't heard it myself.
Let us know if you try the cones.
I may borrow the lead bricks and try them in a couple of weeks. Actually, I was thinking of placing them on top of the bottom T, like a ballast weight. I know it's overkill, but with an active 8 year old running around and if it dampens them further, all the better.
